Reverend Kelley received his call to ministry while under the tutelage of the late Rev. Jesse Wooten at the Greater Holy Tabernacle Church, Elizabeth, NJ. While there, he assisted in the ministry by having full charge of one Sunday per month devoting it to the training and development of the youth. Rev. Kelley served as the minister-in-charge during the long-term illness of Rev. Wooten.
Rev. Kelley was ordained under the United Holy Church of America organization, with the legal access to perform wedding, funerals, baptisms, and christening. In 1985, he began his pastorate at the Beulah Gospel Tabernacle Church. Rev. Kelley has made great strides during his tenure as pastor by implementing various functions meeting the needs of the parishioners and community. He also re-established the finance department to resemble that of a corporation.
Along with pastoring, Rev. Kelley is currently serving as an overseer of 6-10 local assemblies in the United Holy Church of America. His responsibilities include maintaining proper order, settle discrepancies, and provide an annual report on all activities.
Rev. Kelley's sole purpose is to preach and teach the Word of God to the salvation of sinners and growth of born-again believers. His vision for the local assembly exceeds that of the ordinary or mundane pastorate. Rev. Kelley's vision includes the supporting of the community through services such as childcare, elder care, social services and counseling.
Rev. Kelley has been married to his wife Eva for 36 years, and has four children. He resides in Hillside, NJ where he was an active member of the Conklin Avenue Block Association, helping to assure the safety of fellow residents. Rev. Kelley regularly attended township meetings being a proactive member of the community. He served as president of the Board of Directors at the Calvary Christian School for 8 years, and an active member of the board for 12 years. Rev. Kelley was recognized among the "Who's Who" in 2000.
Rev. Kelley lives to maintain a lifestyle that complies with the Bible, the written Word of God, and his accomplishments and current leadership roles are indicative of his success in that area.
